I’m a Utah native who has long been interested in human development and health. I double-majored in psychology and health policy, graduating Magna Cum Laude through the Honors College at the University of Utah. I’m an entrepreneur who has been involved in several projects, mainly focusing on music and poetry. In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer, writing poetry, and discussing philosophy.
I’m an author, co-host of the HappyTalks podcast, and software engineer at Google. I love the work you’re doing at Better To. I was especially drawn to the story-based format. I run the website How to Happy, which focuses on tools and information for optimizing happiness using psychologically sound principles. My recent book Mindscaping focuses on practical steps individuals can take to increase happiness, health, and wellbeing. I teach several courses, including Goal Setting Challenge and Happiness Challenge, each with over 4,000 students
I also enjoy creating rap and poetry. I teach courses on these subjects as well with over 10,000 students. My corresponding Youtube channel has 1.6+ million views.
